GreenBytes Reports Significant Customer Growth in North America and Europe During Q1/Q2 2011 

Customer Base Increases by Over 300% vs. Same Period in 2010

Ashaway, R.I. – August 16, 2011– GreenBytes®, Inc., a developer of high-performance, energy-efficient inline deduplication data storage solutions, today announced that the company’s customer base increased by over 300% during Q1/Q2 2011, compared to the same period last year. Additionally, the company’s system installations have increased by more than 400% during this same period and include users ranging from the Fortune 1000 to SMB in verticals including government, higher education, medical, manufacturing, legal and financial services. 

The significant market growth is attributed to the sales of GreenBytes’ GB-X Series of high-performance SSD accelerated inline deduplicating SAN and NAS appliances as customers from North America and Europe are increasingly turning to GreenBytes for its feature-rich, cost-effective storage solutions that are being utilized for data protection, primary storage and virtualized environments.
